The jokes here write themselves — this is “Little Printer,” described by CNET as ”a tiny output device coming in 2012 that curates your online subscriptions and spits them out into a snackable newspaper.”
Seriously, this is a thing! Which comes complete with photos of the product near (you guessed it) #MorningCoffee and of users presumably liking how it feels in their hands.
It’s kind of like a glorified Game Boy Printer (you guys, I still have mine! I am a total tech junk hoarder! You will see me on one of those shows one day. It is BAD), but instead of a Game Boy, you’re printing shit off your phone.
Or as CNET puts it, the device “frames the Internet in its simplest form for folks that miss the tactility of information consumption.”
Hey, if BERG, the company that created this, can make money off this thingamajig, god bless ‘em. Times are tough!
And if you’re reading this, BERG, Punching Down would be thrilled to receive a review copy when you release the Little Printer next year.
Who knows, maybe we’ll even like how it feels in our hands.
